 My 5-year-old step granddaughter, Erin was excited to graduate from pre-school and begin kindergarten. Do you remember kindergarten? I don’t. However, my mom saved a special note that she received from my kindergarten teacher. It tells the story of a fellow classmate who told his mom they needed to name his new baby sister Laura, because he thought I was pretty. My husband and I chuckled about that recently.
Young love is a sweet thing! I’m embarrassed to admit that I don’t even remember his name.
